The above image is from a 2010 trip to her fathers (Papa's) land in the north of Spain. Isabel and family traveled in the north of Spain for six weeks during the winter. She wanted to see and feel the cold. In this painting she captures the cold and the beauty of a old land through many have passed.
This painting came from a trip to Spain in 2010. "we did allot of driving in the north of Spain. It was winter so the light was clean and clear. It was so beautiful at times it would take our breath away".
